Gyeongsang province is the most appropriate place to learn about 7th century of Korea. At 7th century Korea was consolidated in one country named "Silla". And Silla's capital was 'Gyeongju' city for long time (1,000years) so we still can see lots of relics preserved in here.
'Gyeongju' is also famous tourist city to the locals because you can see "Bulguksa Temple" which was built in 6th century, and near this temple we will also visit "Seokguram with huge Buddha statue".
It is an area that cannot be said without Buddhist history.
So...is this all you can see here? The answer is "Nup!" that's too boring.
Still we have so many places to visit in Gyeongsang province such as,
Pohang city, you can enjoy marine activiy tours at east sea and also can enjoy POSCO Industrial tourism. (The most largest steel mill of Orient)
Yeongcheon city, where you can enjoy 'Korea style wine' with beautiful stars!
Andong city, famous with 'Andong Maskdance festival' in Sep to Oct.
..Still I have lots of things to talk but first check what kind of itinerary we have below! If you are 'history lover' you will love here!
어서오이소! U-seo-O-e-So! (This is phrase that is used to Welcome in Gyeongsang Province)
