Booking a private trip means sending money to a company you have not met, in a country you have not been to. Here is who we are.

A licensed Korean travel company

We hold government-bonded business liability guarantee insurance, which is a legal requirement for registered Korean travel businesses and exists to protect travellers’ payments. We work to national tourism safety regulations.

We are a DMC — we run the trips ourselves

We are a destination management company, not a reseller. When you book with us, we are the ones making the reservations and standing behind them:

  • Our guides are engaged by us directly, on our own written contracts.
  • Hotels, houses, vehicles, ferries and domestic flights are booked by us, in our name.
  • On long routes we rotate guides so that nobody is driving tired.
  • If something changes while you are here — weather, a closure, a missed connection — you call us, not a call centre in another country.

Where we actually go

Most of our work is outside Seoul: the islands on the maritime border, the border towns of Gangwon-do, the inland lake country, the old Baekje and Silla capitals, and the south coast. These are places where very little is written in English and where you need someone local to make the arrangements at all.

How a booking works

  1. You tell us your dates, your group and roughly what you want.
  2. We send you a written proposal: a day-by-day itinerary and an itemised quotation, so you can see what every line costs.
  3. A deposit secures your accommodation and vehicle. The balance is due before you arrive.
  4. Written cancellation terms are stated in the proposal before you pay anything.
