Day 1 SEOUL - CHANGDUK PLACE - HAN YANG CASTLE WALL WALKING

When you arrive Korea, you will meet the guide at the airport and move to downtown Seoul. Seoul used to be the place where the king lived, so the five main palaces are gathered, and you can see many people wearing traditional Korean wearings, hanbok. As soon as we arrive in Seoul, we will move directly to Changdeokgung Palace and experience the most beautiful palace in Korea. Changdeokgung (Changdeok Palace), the second grand palace of the Joseon Dynasty, built in 1405 by King Taejong (the 3rd king of the Joseon Dynasty). In 1592 the main palace, Gyeongbokgung, was completely destroyed by fire during the Japanese Invasion of Korea and Changdeokgung became the home of the Joseon court for 270 years. Changdeokgung was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List as being an outstanding example of Far Eastern palace architecture and garden design, exceptional for the way in which the buildings are integrated into and harmonized with the landscape. Next, we will visit Hanyang City Wall, the wall that has been guarding Hanyang (the old name of Seoul) for a long time. It does not act as a wall now, but it has been a symbol of Seoul for 600 years.
